LUXOS COMMANDER

Install and configure LuxOS on your miners using Commander — Luxor's deployment tool.

GET COMMANDER

Download LuxOS Commander to manage miner installation and configuration from your computer.

ACCESS MINERS BY IP

  1. Open Commander
  2. Click Configure Networks (top right corner)
  3. Input your IP range or individual miner IP addresses
  4. Press Add, select your range, then Save Changes
  5. Press Scan Network

INSTALL LUXOS

  1. In the dashboard, select the miners you want to install LuxOS on
  2. Click "Install LuxOS"
  3. Optionally click "Configure Installation" to pre-enable Autotuner or ATM
  4. Wait for installation to complete — may take a few minutes per batch
⚠ Default batch size is 10 machines at a time. Adjust in Settings (top right) within Commander.

LUXOR POOL

Connect your miners to the Luxor Mining Pool. Create your subaccount first before sending any hashrate.

Create a Luxor profile and subaccount before pointing any hashrate at the pool.

CREATE LUXOR ACCOUNT

MINING POOL CONFIG

In your miner's pool settings interface, fill in the following:

Replace YourSubaccount with your Luxor subaccount name. Replace WorkerName with a unique ID for each miner. No symbols or special characters.

Workers appear in the Luxor UI under the Workers table within ~5 minutes of hashing.

PSU BYPASS

LuxOS now supports PSU bypass directly via firmware — no extra hardware needed. Enable it to use custom or alternative power supplies with your miner.

WHAT IS PSU BYPASS?

Previously, bypassing PSU compatibility checks required a Loki board — a small piece of hardware that tricked the miner's control board into accepting unsupported PSU models. That hardware requirement is now gone.

With PSU Bypass built into LuxOS, the firmware handles compatibility directly. The practical result: lower costs, simpler builds, faster setup.

WHY IT MATTERS FOR HOME MINERS

  • Lower upfront investment — no Loki board to purchase
  • Simpler installation — fewer parts to wire and configure
  • Reduced failure points — fewer hardware components means less that can go wrong
  • Alternative power support — opens the door to solar and other custom power setups
⚠ PSU Bypass removes software restrictions, but proper voltage and power delivery remain critical. Ensure your PSU is correctly spec'd for your miner before enabling.

HOW TO ENABLE PSU BYPASS

  1. Make sure LuxOS is installed and running on your miner (Step 1)
  2. Open your miner's LuxOS dashboard
  3. Navigate to Settings → Power
  4. Enable PSU Bypass
  5. Alternatively, enable via the LuxOS API
★ No additional purchases or hardware installs required. PSU Bypass works alongside Fan Speed Control, Quiet Start, and Hash on Disconnect.

MINER OPTIMIZATION

Enable Autotuner and Advanced Thermal Management to maximize performance and protect your hardware.

ENABLE AUTO-TUNER

Autotuner finds the lowest possible power consumption to maintain your desired frequency (hashrate).

  1. Select miners in Commander
  2. Press "Configure Miners"
  3. Under Power, navigate to Autotuner Mode
  4. Select Enable
  5. Press Review then Apply

ADVANCED THERMAL MANAGEMENT (ATM)

ATM pushes your miner to the highest possible profile while keeping temps safe.

  1. Open the same Configure Miners menu
  2. Navigate to ATM (Advanced Thermal Management)
  3. Select your desired Max Profile
  4. Set your Hot Board Temperature limit under General Settings
  5. Leave Min Profile undefined to allow maximum downclocking when needed
⚠ Use the default temperature settings to avoid damaging your miners. Only increase if you know what you're doing.
